The Epiphone 1960 Hummingbird Reissue Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a collaborative effort with Gibson Custom, flawlessly recreating one of the world's most famous flat-tops for today's performer. The square shoulder hummingbird body boasts a thermally aged solid spruce top, expertly complemented by solid mahogany back and sides, utilizing traditional scalloped X-bracing for a warm, rich tone. The one-piece mahogany neck is also thermally aged and features a comfortable rounded profile. A bound Indian rosewood fretboard has a 12.0-inch radius, integrated across the 24.72-inch (628.0mm) scale length, featuring mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays. Sonic horsepower is delivered by the built-in L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC undersaddle pickup system, with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. Visual detailing includes multi-ply binding, the legendary engraved hummingbird pickguard, and a rosewood belly up bridge.
